Pastor Mark Brody has served as the Youth Pastor at Stone Church since September of 2022. He and his sweet wife Danya grew up at Calvary Church in Naperville, where he served in youth ministry for five years. Pastor Mark has a passion for seeing young people’s lives changed by Christ, and he enjoys finding creative ways to share God’s heart!
When and where does the Clay meet?
Clay Youth meets Thursdays at 6:30 pm at Stone Church!
What ages are welcome at the Clay?
Clay Youth is made up of students grades 6th through 12th!
Do you have to attend Stone Church to come to the Clay?
Absolutely not! All students are welcome, and they are encouraged to bring friends from all walks of life.
What kind of church is Stone Church?
Stone Church is a Pentecostal church under the umbrella of the Assemblies of God!
What is exegetical preaching?
Pastor Mark’s preaching style is exegetical, which means he studies Biblical passages within their original context in an attempt to understand the passage’s intended meaning. He then presents this message to the students in a way that is practical for their lives today!
Can I ask questions if I don’t understand something?
Absolutely! All students are encouraged to bring genuine curiosity about the Lord and His Word. We only ask that you are respectful of Pastor Mark and the other students, and that you raise your hand when asking questions during service.
I am a parent and am unsure about bringing my student to a new youth group. Can I attend service with my student?
Parents are more than welcome to attend Clay Youth services with their children if they so desire. We encourage students to talk about what they have learned!
Are youth leaders background checked?
All of our youth leaders are background checked before they are permitted to serve in Clay Youth. The safety of your children is our top priority!
