AG_LOGO_SmlStone Church is an Assemblies of God church that believes in the authority of God's Word. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, whose life, death and resurrection provide us with new life and a Hope for the future. We affirm the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer and the gifts of the Spirit for empowerment in ministry. Our “16 Fundamentals of Truth” are available at AG.org

Our Core Values:

        1.    We believe full devotion to Jesus and His cause is foundational. Christ-followers should pursue and continually take steps towards intimacy with Christ.

        2.    We believe that prayer, the empowering Holy Spirit and clear biblical teaching is the catalyst for on-going life transformation and spiritual formation.

        3.    We believe vibrant, passionate worship that honors the Father, Son and Holy Spirit is a priority for us a community of Christ-followers.

        4.    We believe our church must encourage and cultivate the building of loving relationships within the home and church family.

        5.    We believe that church health is of vital importance to the spiritual growth of our church. We are committed as a church family to remain relationally healthy by walking in humility, speaking creatively and picking up our responsibilities by laying aside our rights.

        6.    We believe our church is a community of servant volunteers discovering, developing and deploying their God-given gifts, talents and treasures to accomplish the work of God in their generation.

        7.    We believe our church must regularly meet both in large, corporate gatherings and small group settings, to best facilitate the accomplishment of its purpose.

        8.    We believe our church must be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure.

        9.    We believe our church must express the compassion of Christ by addressing the needs of the poor, weak and downtrodden in our community and world.

        10.   We believe reaching non-churched people in our community, in our state, in our nation, and around the world is important to God and therefore important to our church.
